Belmont Bark Blush Cushion

Part of the ‘Belmont’ luxury cushion collection, Bark firstly may appear as wild abstraction, however this full-coverage embroidery took inspiration from the organic patterning of tree bark. The “wow-factor” starts with 9 colours of viscose yarn, which define and add texture to each motif. Then, a specially-made, thick and loosely spun accent yarn is hand-sewn into the surface, adding high relief. The result is a visual and tactile delight and an impressive tour-de-force of the embroiderer’s art.
